From Veronese roots to international markets
In 2026, Zucchelli Forni S.p.A. celebrates fifty years in business. This significant anniversary represents much more than just a milestone: it is the story of an entrepreneurial journey defined by insight, investment, growth, and the ability to evolve—all while remaining firmly rooted in the Verona area.
A story that began in Trevenzuolo, in the province of Verona, and grew steadily to reach international markets, bringing Italian technology and manufacturing quality to the rest of the world.
The origins: an entrepreneurial journey that began in the Verona area
The company’s roots go back to 1967, the year So.Ver—an acronym for “Società Veronese”—was founded.
In 1976, through the initiative of brothers Paolino, Corrado, and Francesco Zucchelli, the present-day Zucchelli Forni S.p.A. took shape. It was a family-run entrepreneurial venture, built upon values that would go on to become the company’s defining characteristics.
Among the key figures in this journey is Paolino Zucchelli—the true heart of the enterprise—who played a decisive role in defining its identity and establishing its foundations: seriousness, reliability, a focus on product quality, and a constant drive for growth.
These principles continue to guide the company’s philosophy today and represent the most valuable legacy of its fifty years in business.
From the province of Verona to over 60 countries worldwide
The international vocation of Zucchelli Forni became evident as early as 1979, when the company began its first exports, with Spain serving as its initial foreign market.
From that point on, commercial expansion continued steadily, bringing Zucchelli ovens to over 60 countries across Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and North, Central, and South America.
This process of internationalization was built on the ability to understand the needs of diverse markets, while offering reliable products and maintaining high quality standards.
Particularly notable is the success achieved in Central and South America, where Zucchelli Forni became a supplier to some of the largest and most prominent hypermarket chains and major retail organizations.
An international presence that demonstrates how an industrial enterprise—deeply rooted in its local territory—can compete on a global scale, by leveraging manufacturing expertise and the quality associated with “Made in Italy.”
Generational transition and company growth
The year 2002 marked a significant and delicate turning point in the history of Zucchelli Forni, following the passing of Paolino.
Leadership of the company passed to Francesco, supported by his brother Corrado and the rest of the family. This generational transition was undertaken with the goal of ensuring the continuity of the business venture—preserving the values and legacy built up over the preceding years—while simultaneously opening up new avenues for development.
In the years that followed, the company continued its growth trajectory through investments, the consolidation of expertise, and an entrepreneurial vision capable of combining experience with innovation.
Today, Zucchelli Forni ranks among the leading players in its sector, both in Italy and across Europe. This achievement testifies to the strength of a journey built over time, as well as the company’s ability to navigate market shifts while remaining true to its own identity.
Quality and innovation: the product at the heart of every decision
If there is one element that has distinguished Zucchelli Forni since its inception, it is its focus on product quality.
The reliability and longevity of its ovens are key factors that make the brand easily recognizable in international markets and represent one of the company’s primary strengths.
The production philosophy is clear: the product comes first. It is the performance, long-term durability, and reliability of the solutions that build customer trust and solidify a brand’s reputation.
For this reason, over the years, Zucchelli Forni has continued to invest in technological development, the pursuit of cutting-edge solutions, and the enhancement of its baking technologies, with the goal of meeting the needs of an ever-evolving sector.
A vision that interprets “Made in Italy” as a tangible commitment: meticulous construction, attention to detail, industrial expertise, and a constant pursuit of quality.
The value of people and international relationships
The story of Zucchelli Forni is not defined solely by its products, technology, and commercial achievements. People—and the relationships built over the decades—have played a fundamental role.
For more than forty years, the company has collaborated with numerous dealers and business partners across the globe. These enduring relationships have weathered economic shifts, market transformations, and technological evolutions, all while preserving a core element: mutual trust.
Continuity, reliability, and a steadfast commitment to fulfilling promises form the foundation of these partnerships—which stand as one of the company’s most valuable assets.
The same approach defines the internal organization. A team with diverse professional backgrounds and skill sets works together daily toward a shared goal: ensuring product quality and a level of service that meets customer expectations.
Because behind every oven, every project, and every milestone achieved, there are always people, experience, and collaboration.
Sustainability and energy autonomy: looking ahead responsibly.
A focus on the future also translates into concrete choices regarding sustainability.
As early as 2010—at a time when the issue of energy efficiency had not yet assumed the central role it now holds in industrial debate—Zucchelli Forni embarked on a significant investment initiative aimed at achieving energy autonomy.
Today, the entire production site in Trevenzuolo, which spans an area of approximately 30,000 square meters, is energy self-sufficient, thanks to a photovoltaic system capable of generating about 1,000 kWh of energy per hour.
A significant investment, reflecting a commitment to combining industrial production, innovation, and environmental awareness—helping to ensure the company is increasingly well-prepared to face the energy and production challenges of the future.
50 years of Zucchelli Forni: a story that continues
The fiftieth anniversary offers an opportunity to look back on the milestones of a business journey that has successfully grown and established itself internationally, all while remaining true to its origins.
From the initial insights of the Zucchelli brothers to a commercial presence in over 60 countries, and from the generational transition to investments in technology and the environment—every stage has helped shape the identity of a company that continues to bring industrial excellence from Verona to the rest of the world.
Today, Zucchelli Forni looks to the future, mindful of the journey taken thus far and committed to further investing in its own expertise, quality, and innovation.
Fifty years marks a significant milestone, yet it also serves as a new starting point. For the success of a business is measured not merely by its history, but by its capacity to keep building upon it.
A special thank you goes to all the partners, collaborators, dealers, and professionals who have walked alongside Zucchelli Forni over these past fifty years. Through their trust, expertise, and dedication, they have helped write a shared history—one built on relationships, values, and common goals.
A story that began in the Verona area and continues to look toward the wider world.
